Huntsville, AL – May 21, 2024 – Tunista Logistics Solutions (TLS), operating within the Yulista Base Operations Support Group, has been awarded the Logistics Support Services (LSS) Contract by NASA’s Ames Research Center (ARC) based in Santa Clara, California.
NASA Ames Research Center conducts a wide range of research in various fields, including space exploration, aeronautics, astrobiology, and robotics. It houses state-of-the-art facilities for testing and experimentation, including wind tunnels, simulators, and laboratories. The center plays a key role in developing advanced technologies and systems for NASA’s missions, including spacecraft and scientific instruments.
The LSS Contract, designed to strengthen the mission responsibilities of the Logistics Management Division (LMD) within NASA ARC, aims to provide essential logistics support and related services crucial for the center’s operations. TLS will be responsible for ensuring logistics operations to facilitate the success of various institutional and technical programs/projects undertaken by NASA ARC.
TLS will support a wide range of services including lifecycle logistics, supply and material management, transportation solutions, equipment management, mail services, and disposal management. TLS’s focus on efficiency and effectiveness across the logistical spectrum, will contribute to the overall mission success of NASA ARC.
