FAA Human Factors Engineering & Human-Centered Design
DSoft provides Human Factors expertise for a wide range of projects for the Federal Aviation Administration at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, one of the FAA's primary research centers. DSoft Technology's projects are largely focused on air traffic management and the integration of emerging NextGen technologies and procedures. Projects range from concept development to high fidelity, real-time human-in-the-loop simulations.
Space Weather Analysis and Forecast System
For integrated meteorological data, DoD and commercial entities rely on space capabilities such as satellite communications and global positioning systems, which are impacted by space weather events. The SWAFS project represents the latest technology and modeling available to forecast the magnitude and duration of these events. Through the application of human factors engineering principles, DSoft is modernizing the system with UI/UX improvements and automated analysis capabilities.
Air Force Space Command - Cyberspace Analysis
A growing USAF mission is to achieve cyberspace superiority. Part of that requirement includes inventorying, cataloging, understanding, and communicating the capabilities of current cyberspace Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools and capabilities to perform Command-specific analysis of cyberspace operations, network attack courses of action, and network defense capabilities.
Nation's Finest Data Visualization
Using Microsoft Power BI and publicly available data from the US Census Bureau, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), DSoft Technology designed and created an interactive dashboard to visualize Veteran demographics and the services available. Map boundaries include state, county, and HUD Continuity of Care (CoC) regions. The Power BI solution has filtered reports to compare different geographic regions at a point in time and to view the same region for changes over time.
NIFC Geospatial Portal Suite
DSoft Technology supports the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) with project management, design, development, programming and system administration of the Enterprise Geospatial Portal (EGP), a suite of web-based applications for coordinating wildland fire fighting efforts at the national level.
