The Space and Missile Defense Symposium is Huntsville’s most attended and most anticipated conference, hosted annually by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) at the downtown Von Braun Center, named for North Alabama rocket and missile engineer Wernher von Braun. The locale for this event was chosen for its proximity to federal powerhouse Redstone Arsenal, which hosts major organizations such as NASA, the Missile Defense Agency, and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The SMD Symposium is the leading educational, professional development, and networking event in the space and missile defense community, and every year, the conference platforms knowledge sharing, critical discussions, and cutting-edge insights that continue to drive national and global security forward.
With a schedule full of interactive panels, networking events, and exhibitor presentations, this year’s Space and Missile Defense Symposium will be an effective conduit for conversation, collaboration, and innovation.
