On December 18th, 2017, Yulista Tactical Services, LLC (Y-TAC) was awarded the Aircraft Maintenance, Logistics, Integration, Configuration Management and Engineering (ALICE) contract. The ALICE contract award is the first NASA prime contract for Yulista. Y-TAC began transitioning the contract on December 31, 2017. On March 1st, Y-TAC celebrated its first day on contract. Yulista is honored to support NASA’s AOD mission through September 30, 2019 with options (up to a total of 5 years). Yulista is supporting all of NASA’s fixed-wing fleet at Ellington Field, El Paso Forward Operating Location, and Langley Research Center; including both field and depot level maintenance. Y-TAC is maintaining more than 30 fixed-wing aircraft, including the WB-57 and Gulfstream V (pictured above), the T-38N, Gulfstream III, UC-12B, HU-25A and the Super Guppy. These aircraft support numerous engineering missions, training of new Astronauts, and many other vital NASA programs such as Earth Science, Space Launch System, Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) campaign, Orion, and commercial space Partnerships.

In addition to fixed-wing maintenance, Y-TAC provides logistics, engineering, and training support for the Flight Operations Directorate at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC). This includes flight operations services, aircraft maintenance, maintenance training, simulator instructional training, and engineering and operational support for a variety of manned/unmanned fixed-wing airframes, engines, and support equipment.
Team Yulista includes Qualified Technical Services, Inc. (QTS) and L-3 Vertex Aerospace, LLC (L-3), bringing over 30 years of experience in engineering and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance to the team.
