YIS is the managing partner company of the Joint Venture, Defense Systems and Solutions, the U.S. Army, DEVCOM AvMC Prototype Integration Facility Prime Contractor. Our teams support the PIF’s current operations, prototype development, modifications & upgrades, sustainment and bridging of technology gaps with delivery of hardware, software, and services. Including response hardware/software solutions with expert & skilled labor, materials, and facilities (follow-on to PIF-2 contract).
YIS supports The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Test Center, 96th Test Wing for Test and Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments and Spectrum (TETRAS) II. Our teams provide the 96th Range Group the capability to urgently develop/modify systems and ensure the performance of 5th generation weapons and cyber systems while validating and transitioning to 6th generation technologies.
YIS backs the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Full Rate Production Lot III, focusing on the full-rate production of extra aircraft components alongside the production and installation of modification kits.
YIS assists in producing hardware and electronic components to support upgrades for the Army Tank, Armaments and Automotive Command, including training and test equipment. This support is extended to Project, Product, and Program Managers within The Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).
