We want to warmly welcome our new addition to the leadership team, Tim Strait. Tim joins Yulista as he remains the President of our newly acquired company, StraitSys. StraitSys is a highly respected technology and cybersecurity solutions provider specializing in Big Data Analytics, Information Technology Services, Counter-Insider Threat, Cybersecurity, and Program Management across the intelligence community, federal law enforcement, and Department of Defense. He is a mission-driven leader with over 30 years of experience as a business and technology executive focused on the design, development, launch, and support of technology solutions, products, and services in federal and commercial markets. He offers an acute comprehension of mission, customers, and the critical intersection of technology, information, and business operations.
Prior to co-founding StraitSys, Tim served as the Chief Technology Officer of two commercial software companies after a distinguished career serving in information technology and operational positions across the commercial sector. He holds active certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and has completed the Insider Threat Hub Operations course through the National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF).
Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science with a concentration in Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech. He also completed an executive program in Delivering Information Systems from Harvard Business School. He has served on the Board of Directors for the National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA) and many not-for-profit Boards and is a member of the following organizations: International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP); FBI Infragard; Project Management Institute (PMI); Scrum Alliance; Cyber Huntsville; Leadership Greater Huntsville; and Association of United States Army (AUSA).
Tim lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with his wife, Amanda, and has four children.
