Yulista Tactical Services & Yulista Solutions Support NASA ACCLIP Mission in South Korea

The Yulista Tactical Services (YTS) / Yulista Solutions (YS) ALICE team supported our NASA customer on the 2022 Asian Summer Monsoon Chemical and Climate Impact Project (ACCLIP) mission. This was a joint mission between NASA, the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).  Yulista maintenance crews consisted of aircraft technicians, Life Support technicians for high altitude flights, quality control inspectors, and mission management.  In support of their journey to OSAN Air Base, South Korea, maintenance crews were in place in advance to recover and launch the aircraft at McChord AB, WA, Elmendorf AFB, AK, Adak, AK, and Misawa AB, Japan as it made its way to South Korea.

A few days after arriving in South Korea, the area experienced a severe storm tagged as a “100-year storm”. The crew, aircraft, and equipment fared the storm well.  Despite the weather conditions, ACCLIP mission was extremely successful and included 24 sorties and 121 flight hours. Congratulations, to all who were involved! Your commitment to quality and safety ensured the success of this mission.
